- Melt butter over medium heat in a skillet. Tilt the pan to spread the butter evenly while it foams lightly.
- Carefully break the eggs into the skillet and season them with salt.
- Cover the skillet with a glass lid and cook for about 1 minute and 30 seconds until the whites are just set.
- Remove the lid and continue to cook for another 1 minute and 30 seconds, or until the whites are completely set and the yolks remain runny.
- Transfer the eggs to a plate, season with salt and pepper to your taste, and serve right away.
