Ingredients
  

For the Smoothie
  • 1 cup blueberries frozen
  • 1 cup strawberries frozen
  • 2 bananas frozen
  • 3-5 Tablespoons milk of choice add more if needed
  • 1 Tablespoon honey
For the Decoration
  • 3 Tablespoons greek yogurt or regular yogurt, whipped topping, or icing
  • banana slices for garnish

  • fresh berries for garnish
  • chia seeds for garnish
  • star sprinkles for garnish
  • plastic spiders for garnish

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Sandwich bag
  • Straw or knife

Method
 

  1. Place frozen berries, frozen bananas, 3 Tablespoons of milk, and honey into a blender. Blend on medium-low speed until smooth. Add an additional 1-2 Tablespoons of milk if needed to reach a thick consistency.
  2. Pour the smoothie mixture into two bowls and set aside.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt to a small resealable bag. Cut a very small piece off one corner of the bag.
  4. In the center of each smoothie bowl, pipe a small circle with the yogurt. Pipe three more circles around the first circle.
  5. Using a sharp knife or a toothpick, carefully draw lines from the center circles outward to create a web pattern.
  6. Garnish your smoothie bowls with banana slices, kiwi, fresh berries, chia seeds, star sprinkles, and plastic spiders.

Notes

For the best results, keep the smoothie mixture as thick as possible so the toppings do not sink. Using frozen fruit is key to achieving a creamy texture. Greek yogurt works well for the web pattern due to its thick consistency, but other yogurts, whipped topping, or icing can also be used.
