Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Skewers
  • 500 g boneless, skinless chicken thighs cut into 1-inch pieces
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper optional
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
For the Garlic Yogurt Sauce
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh dill chopped
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, combine chicken pieces with olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
  3. Marinate the chicken for at least 30 minutes at room temperature, or up to 4 hours in the refrigerator.
  4. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  5. Grill the chicken skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. While the chicken is grilling, prepare the garlic yogurt sauce. In a small bowl, mix together Greek yogurt, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped dill, and salt.
  7. Serve the smoky chicken skewers immediately with the garlic yogurt sauce.

Notes

You can also bake these skewers in the oven at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes, turning halfway through.
