Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce your favorite kind
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
For Serving
  • 6 hamburger buns

Method
 

  1. Place the chicken breasts in your slow cooker.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, chicken broth, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  3. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours, or on high for 2-3 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
  5. Remove the chicken from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Return the shredded chicken to the sauce in the slow cooker and stir to combine.
  6. Serve the pulled BBQ chicken on hamburger buns.

Notes

You can add your favorite toppings such as coleslaw, pickles, or sliced onions. This recipe is also great for meal prep.
