Simple Watermelon Sorbet

This recipe makes a refreshing watermelon sorbet with just a few ingredients. It's a perfect summer treat.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 cups Seedless watermelon cubed and frozen
  • 1/4 cup Lime juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or maple syrup optional, to taste

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Freezer-safe container

Method
 

  1. Combine the frozen watermelon cubes, lime juice, and optional sweetener in a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth and creamy. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides of the blender a few times.
  3. Transfer the sorbet to a freezer-safe container and freeze for at least 30 minutes before serving, or until firm.

Notes

For a firmer sorbet, freeze for longer. You can also add a splash of water if the mixture is too thick to blend.
