Ingredients

For the Crust
  • 2 cups Oreo cookie crumbs about 24 cookies
  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
For the Filling
  • 2 packages cream cheese 8 ounce each, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup heavy cream whipped to stiff peaks
  • 10 cookies Oreo cookies chopped

Equipment

  • 9-inch springform pan
  • Food processor
  • Electric mixer
  • Mixing bowls

Method

  1. Combine Oreo cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press mixture into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  2. In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually beat in powdered sugar until well combined.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in the whipped heavy cream until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped Oreo cookies.
  6. Spread the filling evenly over the crust.
  7. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or until firm.
  8. Before serving, you can garnish with additional whipped cream or Oreo crumbs if desired.

Notes

For a smoother crust, you can pulse the Oreo cookies in a food processor until they form fine crumbs. Ensure your cream cheese is fully softened to avoid lumps in the filling.
