Ingredients
  

For the Chicken
  • 4 lbs chicken wings
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 large egg
For the Flour Batter
  • 3 cups flour
  • 3/4 cups cornstarch
  • 4 tsps paprika
  • 2 tsps salt
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp Sazon
For the Sauce
  • 1 Mango Sliced whole
  • 4 tbps melted butter
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 1 cup BBQ Sauce
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce
  • 1-2 scotch bonnet peppers or Habanero peppers Use more for extra heat

  • Deep fryer or large pot for frying

Method
 

  1. Season the chicken wings with salt, paprika, and pepper. Mix in the egg until the wings are coated. Let the seasoned wings rest for 10 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, cornstarch, paprika, salt, chili powder, pepper, and Sazon for the batter.
  3. Preheat your oil to 350 degrees Fahrenheit for frying.
  4. Coat the chicken wings in the flour batter, shaking off any excess coating. Let the battered wings rest for 10 minutes before placing them in the hot oil.
  5. Fry the wings for 10 to 15 minutes, or until the chicken is golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Blend the sliced mango, melted butter, peppers, and honey until smooth. Pour this mixture into a saucepan. Simmer the sauce, then slowly add the BBQ sauce and sweet chili sauce, stirring constantly.
  7. Toss the hot fried wings in the prepared sauce until they are fully coated. Serve immediately.
