Loaded Baked Potatoes (Bar Night)

Ingredients
  

For the Baked Potatoes
  • 4 Potatoes (russet, sweet, or white)
  • 2 tbsp Cooking oil
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
For the Toppings Bar
  • 1 stick Salted butter sliced
  • 1 cup Sour cream
  • 1 cup Shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Feta cheese crumbled
  • 1/4 cup Chopped fresh chives
  • 1 cup Sautéed sliced mushrooms
  • 1 cup Crispy bacon crumbled
  • 1/2 cup Cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 Avocado sliced
  • 1 can Chili

Equipment

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Scrub the potatoes clean and pat them dry. Rub them with cooking oil, salt, and pepper. Pierce each potato all over with a fork.
  3. Wrap each potato individually in foil. Place the potatoes directly on the oven racks or on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake for 50 to 60 minutes, turning them every 20 minutes.
  4. Prepare the toppings bar by placing the sliced butter, sour cream, cheeses, chives, mushrooms, bacon, tomatoes, avocado, and chili into separate small bowls or plates. Arrange them on your serving board.
  5. Cut the baked potatoes in half and place them around the serving board.
  6. Serve with additional salt, pepper, and your favorite seasonings on the side.
