  • 4 pork chops about 1-inch thick
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Method
 

  1. Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels. This helps create a better sear.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Rub the olive oil all over the pork chops, then sprinkle the spice mixture evenly on both sides.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  5. Place the seasoned pork chops in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Do not overcrowd the basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  6. Air fry for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the chops are golden brown.
  7. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute, making them more tender.

Notes

For thicker chops, you may need to add a few extra minutes to the cooking time. Always check the internal temperature with a meat thermometer to ensure they are cooked safely.
