Ingredients

Chicken Wings
  • 4 lbs chicken wings broken down into drummettes and flats
  • 1 Tbsp Head Country BBQ Championship Original Seasoning
  • 1 cup Head Country Honey BBQ Sauce
Dipping Sauce
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp milk
  • 1 Tbsp Head Country BBQ Championship Original Seasoning

Equipment

  • Grill
  • Large bowl
  • Small bowl

Method

  1. Preheat the grill to high heat, about 400˚F. Lightly oil the grates.
  2. Add the wings to a large bowl. Add the Head Country BBQ Championship Original Seasoning and toss to coat the wings evenly.
  3. Place the wings on the grill. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, flipping them halfway through. Cook until the skin is crispy and the internal temperature reaches 165˚F. In the final 5 minutes of cooking, brush the wings with 1/3 cup of the sauce, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
  4. While the wings cook, make the dipping sauce. Stir together all the sauce ingredients in a small bowl until combined. Set the sauce aside in the refrigerator until you serve the wings.
  5. Remove the wings from the grill and place them in a large bowl. Toss to coat the wings in the remaining sauce.
  6. Serve the wings with the dipping sauce.
