Ingredients

Salmon
  • 2 salmon fillets 5–8 oz. each
Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1.5 tablespoons low sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder or 1 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
Optional Garnishes
  • black/white sesame seeds
  • green onions, sliced

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Bowl

Method

  1. Combine honey, soy sauce, and garlic powder in a bowl. Stir to mix. Divide the sauce in half.
  2. Marinate the salmon fillets with half the sauce in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Place the marinated salmon fillets in the air fryer basket. Baste the remaining marinade onto the salmon fillets.
  4. Air fry for 7-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time will vary depending on the thickness of the fillets.
  5. Serve the salmon hot, drizzled with any remaining sauce. This pairs well with rice.
