Method
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and sesame oil for the sauce. Set aside.
- Place the broccoli florets on one side of the prepared baking sheet. Drizzle with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
- Place the salmon portions on the other side of the baking sheet. Drizzle with the remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Bake for 10 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the salmon. If using, stir the cornstarch slurry into the sauce.
- Return the baking sheet to the oven and bake for another 5-7 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and the sauce has thickened.
- Serve the honey garlic salmon and broccoli immediately.
Notes
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce. You can also add other vegetables like bell peppers or onions to the sheet pan.
