- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a small bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, brown sugar, vanilla extract, orange zest, and nutmeg. Stir until well mixed.
- Place the cold brie cheese round in a small baking dish or pie plate if you plan to serve it directly from the dish. If you intend to transfer the cheese to a serving platter after baking, line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the brie on it.
- Spoon the cranberry mixture evenly over the top of the brie. Sprinkle the chopped nuts over the cranberry mixture. If using rosemary, place one sprig on top.
- Bake for 8 to 15 minutes, or until the cheese is soft when gently poked. Avoid overbaking until it is completely melted or collapsing.
- If you baked the brie on parchment paper, carefully lift the paper and slide the cheese onto your serving dish using a spatula. Discard the used rosemary sprig and garnish with a fresh rosemary sprig, if desired.
- Serve immediately with your choice of crackers or crostini.
