Ingredients
  

For the Banana Bread
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed until smooth
  • 1/3 cup butter melted (75 g)
  • 1/2 cup sugar (100 g)
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • to taste salt
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (185 g)
  • 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips (85 g)
For Topping
  • additional chocolate chips

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
  2. In a bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth. Add the melted butter and stir until well combined.
  3. Add the sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract, baking soda, salt, and flour. Stir until the batter is smooth.
  4. Stir in the mini chocolate chips. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan. Top with additional chocolate chips.
  5. Bake for 50 minutes to an hour, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. Cool the banana bread completely before serving.
