Ingredients

For the Pasta
  • 1 pound penne pasta
For the Chicken and Bacon
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 6 slices bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup milk

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Skillet
  • Colander

Method

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
  2. While the pasta is cooking, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season chicken pieces with salt and pepper. Add chicken to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, add the ranch dressing, heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, and milk. Stir until well combined and heated through. Do not boil.
  4. Add the cooked pasta, chicken, and crumbled bacon to the skillet with the sauce. Toss to coat evenly.
  5. Serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan cheese if desired.
