- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper for easy cleanup.
- Pat the salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Sprinkle the fillets evenly with 1 teaspoon of the kosher salt.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, olive oil, and the juice from half a lemon. Add the remaining 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the mixture.
- Place the salmon fillets skin-side down on the prepared baking sheet. Brush the honey garlic mixture generously over the top of each fillet.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork. Cooking time depends on the thickness of your fillets.
- Remove the salmon from the oven. Garnish with thinly sliced scallions, if you are using them. Serve immediately.
