Ingredients

  • 1 cup self-rising flour plus more for dusting
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 1.5 Tbsp. everything bagel seasoning

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Parchment paper
  • Medium bowl

Method

  1. Heat your oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and yogurt until they combine and dough starts to form. The dough will be very sticky. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured work surface.
  3. Knead the dough for 2 minutes, adding more flour if needed, until the dough is soft and only slightly sticky. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces. Roll each piece into a 1 1/4-inch-thick log, about 8 inches long. Pinch the ends of each log together to form bagels. Transfer the bagels to the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Brush the tops of the bagels with the beaten egg and sprinkle with the everything bagel seasoning. Bake until the bagels are golden brown, about 28 to 35 minutes. Serve them while they are still warm.
