Method
- Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Lightly grease the foil with cooking spray.
- Place flour, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, and salt into a resealable plastic bag. Shake the bag to mix the dry ingredients.
- Add the chicken wings to the bag. Seal the bag and toss the wings until they are completely coated with the flour mixture.
- Transfer the coated wings to the prepared baking sheet. Refrigerate the wings for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
- While the oven preheats, whisk together the melted butter and hot sauce in a small bowl until combined.
- Dip each wing into the butter mixture. Place the dipped wings back onto the baking sheet.
- Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. Flip the wings over. Continue to cook until the outside is crispy and the center is no longer pink, which takes about 25 more minutes.

Notes
Chicken wings are a great option for a quick family meal. You can use the leftover cooked wings for lunch the next day, perhaps in a sandwich.
